Japanese Language Classes for Students Preparing for High School

Akatsuki Juku (21st Century Terakoya)
Mitsuo Murase, Director

Akatsuki Juku is preparing to open Japanese language classes in April 2027 for children and young people who need support with their studies in Japan.

The classes are intended for students, regardless of nationality, who hope to enter a Japanese high school and want to improve their Japanese language skills and prepare for high school entrance examinations.

We plan to offer two classes:

Class	Hours
Daytime Class	10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
After-School High School Preparation Class	4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

We are accepting advance expressions of interest. Please contact us if you would like to join a class or discuss your child’s plans for high school.

If enough students are interested, we may begin offering classes before April 2027. We also welcome enquiries about support for children and young people who need help developing their Japanese language and academic skills.
